NEW WORKS
First in the Gold Series and using a new medium of acrylics, I missed the freedom of Chinese Brush Painting where what you paint is what you get - no going over strokes. Here you have to keep going over them to get results. It was a learning experience.
Yellow Dance In the Realm of Creation
DANCE SERIES
This new series emerged from the synthesis of my dancer’s background with the art form of dancing with the brush on rice paper. Being a prolific artist, led to the unique presentation of mounting the rice paper on painted canvas with 3-D embellishments.
Morning Glories & Starburst

Three Horses
FUR AND FEATHERS
The Horse and Water Buffalo are the two most popular animal subjects in Chinese Brush Painting. As in all Chinese Brush Painting - one strives to capture the spirit of the animal along with its unique features and formation.
Koi & Water Lilies
FISH
In Chinese Brush Painting fish should be painted swimming and darting with vitality. In creating this gallery, I discovered that I have One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish but no Blue Fish. Guess I better get busy Dr. Seuss!

INK WORKS
The Chinese have a saying "There are five colors in ink". The art of loading the brush with water and ink to achieve the desired results requires lengthy study and experimentation yet the monochromatic rewards are endless.
